lenght of time on the diet

Do you stop using HCG when you are at the desired weight or does it have to be used for a specific amount of time to be effective in maintaining the weight?

Getting off HCG ...
by: Terry

Dr. Simeon recommends that the HCG dieter avoid or at least minimize carbs and fat for a period of up to 3 weeks if possible. So that means lots of protein, lots of fruit and veggies (no beans)no breads, cereals, or grains.
At the end of the 3 week period the hypothalamus should have re-established it's balance allowing the dieter to not crave carbs and fat and thus be able to eat a balanced diet of up to 3,000 calories per day with relative immunity.
A post HCG diet person should be free from cravings (sugar, carbs, fat) and be able to easily constrain themselves from over-eating and feasting on carbs.
Hope this helps.
